€urotrash
is the experience of living in between two worlds with tenuous connections to strange idiosyncrasies. In this space, we meet at the intersection between life and death, religion and superstition, patriarchy and anarchy, collective and individual trauma of post- wars and multiple -isms. East and West collide to express unique cultural quirks and relationships.
On its surface, €urotrash is decadent and dissonant, underneath, it pierces the heart of complex issues surrounding six women’s relationships to their cultural heritage. Trading on the themes and aesthetics of both high and low culture, we invite all to participate and celebrate the rituals of Eastern Europe.
